I was in the market for a dedicated 9mm upper to pair with an existing AR-15 lower, aiming for a fun range toy and a potential home defense option. I needed something compact, reliable, and capable of accepting readily available Glock magazines (using a separate lower receiver adapter).
Upon receiving the upper, the matte black finish immediately struck me as clean and professional. The weight felt substantial but not overly heavy, suggesting a good balance between durability and portability. The M-LOK handguard felt solid and offered plenty of real estate for accessories.
