The Olight Arkfeld Ultra 1400 Lumens LED Flashlight w/Green Laser Sight is not just another flashlight; it’s a compact, multi-functional tool designed for everyday carry (EDC) and tactical applications. This device combines a powerful white light, a UV light for detection tasks, and a bright green laser pointer into a slim, durable package. As someone who has spent over a decade working with outdoor and tactical gear, I’m always on the lookout for tools that offer versatility and reliability, and the Arkfeld Ultra immediately piqued my interest.
I was seeking a flashlight that could serve multiple purposes without sacrificing portability. I needed a reliable light source for camping, a laser pointer for presentations, and a UV light for identifying potential hazards during outdoor excursions. The Arkfeld Ultra seemed to offer all these features in a single, compact unit, making it a potential game-changer.
Upon unboxing, the first thing that struck me was the sleek, ultra-thin profile of the Olight Arkfeld Ultra 1400 Lumens LED Flashlight w/Green Laser Sight. The O-aluminum construction felt solid and premium, and the weight was surprisingly light at just 4.2 ounces. The design is clean and modern, with a circular selector switch for easy mode changes. Compared to bulkier tactical flashlights I’ve used, the Arkfeld Ultra promised to be a much more comfortable EDC option.
Compared to similar multi-functional flashlights like the Streamlight TLR-8 G or the SureFire XVL2-IRC, the Olight Arkfeld Ultra 1400 Lumens LED Flashlight w/Green Laser Sight stands out due to its integrated UV light and slim form factor. While the Streamlight and SureFire options are excellent for weapon-mounted applications, the Arkfeld Ultra excels in its ability to be easily carried and used in various everyday scenarios. I chose it for its balance of features, size, and usability.
My initial impression was one of excitement. The Olight Arkfeld Ultra 1400 Lumens LED Flashlight w/Green Laser Sight promised a lot, and the build quality seemed to back up those promises. I was eager to put it through its paces and see if it could truly live up to its potential.
