My search for a better grip started with the desire to improve my P365’s handling. The factory grip felt a bit too small for my hands, especially during extended range sessions. I was also looking for a grip module that offered a more aggressive texture and a better overall feel.
Unboxing the Icarus Precision ACE 365 Sub Macro Pistol Grip w/ Manual Safety was impressive. The machining was clean, the finish was flawless, and the 7075 aluminum construction felt incredibly solid. The grip felt noticeably more substantial than the stock polymer frame.
I considered the Grayguns grip module and the Wilson Combat P365 grip, but Icarus Precision‘s aggressive texturing and unique backstrap swell appealed to me more. I chose this model because of the promise of improved grip and control, along with the added safety of a manual safety. My initial excitement grew as I held it in my hand; it felt like a significant upgrade.
