In the world of ammunition, finding a reliable and consistent performer that doesn’t break the bank is always the goal. The Armscor Precision Inc 9mm 124 Grain FMJ Value Pack Brass Cased Pistol Ammunition ARMS50445 11% Off promises just that: a cost-effective solution for training, plinking, and general range use. Armscor, known for its value-driven approach, aims to deliver quality without the premium price tag. This ammunition boasts a 124-grain full metal jacket (FMJ) bullet, brass casing, and is designed for 9mm Luger pistols.
My search for this ammo stemmed from a need for a high-volume practice round that wouldn’t decimate my budget. I’ve been focusing on improving my pistol marksmanship lately, and that requires a lot of rounds downrange. I needed something reliable that I could feed my Glock 19 and SIG Sauer P320 without constantly worrying about the cost per round.
Unboxing the Armscor Precision Inc 9mm 124 Grain FMJ Value Pack, the first thing I noticed was the neat packaging. The rounds are well-organized, and the brass casings have a clean, consistent appearance. Picking up a round, it felt solid and well-constructed, instilling a sense of confidence.
Compared to other budget ammunition options like Blazer Brass or Winchester White Box, the Armscor seemed to offer a slightly better finish on the brass. While both alternatives are common, I’ve encountered more frequent issues with inconsistent powder charges and primer seating in the Winchester option. I was hopeful that the Armscor would provide a more consistent shooting experience.
My initial reaction was cautiously optimistic. The price point was certainly attractive, and the rounds looked well-made. I was eager to get to the range and see how they performed in my pistols, hoping for a smooth, reliable, and accurate experience.

First Use Experience
My first experience with the Armscor Precision Inc 9mm 124 Grain FMJ Value Pack was at my local outdoor shooting range. The weather was clear and dry, providing ideal conditions for testing. I loaded up magazines for both my Glock 19 and SIG Sauer P320 and began putting rounds downrange.
Right off the bat, the ammunition cycled reliably in both pistols. I experienced no failures to feed, fire, or eject within the first hundred rounds. The recoil felt consistent and manageable, typical of 124-grain 9mm ammunition.
The accuracy was reasonable for practice ammunition. At 15 yards, I was consistently hitting within the 4-inch bullseye, which is more than adequate for my training purposes. There were no noticeable squib loads or any other anomalies that would cause concern.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several range sessions and hundreds of rounds fired, the Armscor Precision Inc 9mm ammunition has proven to be remarkably reliable. I’ve now put over 500 rounds through my pistols, and I’ve only encountered one instance of a failure to eject. That single incident could have just as easily been pistol-related.
In terms of durability, the brass casings have held up well after reloading. I’m an avid reloader, and the Armscor brass has proven to be quite resilient, showing no signs of excessive wear or cracking. Cleaning the pistols after shooting this ammunition was straightforward. There was no excessive residue or fouling compared to other brands I’ve used.
Compared to my previous go-to practice ammo, Federal American Eagle, the Armscor performs similarly in terms of reliability and accuracy but at a lower cost. While Federal American Eagle might have a slight edge in terms of perceived consistency, the Armscor offers a significant value proposition without sacrificing too much in performance. It has become my new standard for high-volume practice sessions.
