I’ve spent over a decade tweaking and tuning bows, and I’m eager to see if this kit lives up to the hype.
My current bow setup felt a bit sluggish, losing some of its punch after a long season of use. A quality string kit was the obvious solution to restore its speed and accuracy. First Use Experience
My first experience with the First String Premium String Kit 1203546 began at my local archery range. Installation, while requiring a bow press and some know-how, went smoothly, as expected for a premium string set. After setting the proper draw weight and length, I was ready to test the new string and cables.
The range was relatively quiet, allowing me to focus on the bow’s new feel. The new string and cables resulted in a noticeable reduction in vibration and noise upon release. This improvement was especially apparent when compared to the old, worn strings I had previously used.
After a few dozen shots, there were no signs of stretching or serving separation, a common issue with lower-quality strings. Even in the relatively controlled environment of the range, the First String kit felt like a worthwhile upgrade.

After several weeks of consistent use, including multiple practice sessions and a weekend hunting trip, the First String Premium String Kit 1203546 continues to impress. The string set has maintained its initial performance characteristics, with no noticeable degradation in speed or accuracy. This consistency is critical for building confidence in my equipment.
The First String kit has demonstrated exceptional durability. The serving shows no signs of wear, even after repeated use with a mechanical release. Cleaning and maintenance have been minimal. Regular waxing with a quality string wax has kept the string in optimal condition, with no signs of fraying or degradation.
Compared to previous string sets I’ve used, this one definitely stands out. It outperforms them in terms of noise reduction, durability, and consistent performance. The First String kit has earned its place as a reliable and high-performing component of my archery setup.
