29453 $28.90 Off**
For years, I’ve been a staunch advocate for reliable self-defense ammunition, always seeking that perfect balance between accuracy, stopping power, and consistent performance. The Remington Premier Golden Saber .45 Auto 230 Grain BJHP Brass Case Pistol Ammunition
29453 $28.90 Off promised to deliver exactly that, so I decided to put it through its paces.
I was seeking a .45 ACP round that offered dependable expansion and penetration, critical for personal defense. I’d used other hollow points before, with mixed results, some failing to expand reliably after encountering barriers like heavy clothing.
Unboxing the 500-round case, the first thing that struck me was the gleaming brass cases and the precisely formed jacketed hollow points. They exuded quality, a testament to Remington‘s reputation. Compared to some bulk-packed range ammo, these looked like they meant business. I was hoping they would perform as well as they looked.
I’d considered other premium self-defense rounds like Federal HST and Speer Gold Dot, but Remington’s Golden Saber line has always intrigued me with its advertised near 100% weight retention. That, combined with the current discount, made it an easy choice. My initial reaction was one of cautious optimism; I was eager to see if these rounds could live up to the hype.
