Real-World Testing: Putting Wise Premier Pontoon 7in Radius Arm Rest – Right to the Test
First Use Experience
I installed the Wise Premier Pontoon 7in Radius Arm Rest – Right on my pontoon boat just before a weekend fishing trip on Lake Cumberland. The weather was typical for summer in Kentucky – hot and humid. I needed it to provide lasting comfort through those sunny days.
The armrest immediately provided added comfort while cruising and fishing. The height and position were perfect for resting my arm. The cup holders were conveniently placed and kept my drinks secure, even when navigating choppy water.
There was virtually no learning curve; it was intuitive and comfortable from the start. My only initial concern was how well the vinyl would hold up to prolonged sun exposure, but that had yet to be determined.
Extended Use & Reliability
After three months of regular use, the Wise Premier Pontoon 7in Radius Arm Rest – Right has held up remarkably well. There are no signs of fading or cracking in the vinyl, despite being exposed to the sun and weather. The plastic frame remains sturdy and shows no signs of stress.
Cleaning is a breeze; a quick wipe down with a damp cloth removes any dirt or grime. I’ve even spilled sunscreen and fish slime on it, and it cleaned up easily without staining. It’s proven to be low-maintenance.
Compared to the original factory armrests, this Wise upgrade is a significant improvement. It’s more comfortable, more durable, and the cup holders are a game-changer. I am exceptionally pleased with its performance.
