The Rainier Arms Avalanche Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 Charging Handle promises an enhanced shooting experience for the popular .22LR platform. Rainier Arms is known for quality components, and the Avalanche charging handle aims to bring ambidextrous functionality and improved ergonomics to the M&P 15-22. This upgrade aims to solve the somewhat diminutive factory charging handle, a common complaint among shooters, especially those with larger hands or those who prefer ambidextrous controls.
My journey to acquiring the Rainier Arms Avalanche Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 Charging Handle stemmed from a desire to improve the handling of my son’s M&P 15-22. Initially, I was excited to see if the Rainier Arms Avalanche Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 Charging Handle would live up to its promise. The enhanced size and ambidextrous design looked like a significant improvement. It offered the potential for faster, more reliable charging, especially for my son, who was still developing his fine motor skills and strength.
