First Thoughts on the GPS GPS-T32ARB 32″ TAC AR CASE W/ HANDGUN CASE
In a world awash with tactical gear, finding the right case to protect your valuable AR-15 and a sidearm can be a daunting task. Enter the GPS GPS-T32ARB 32″ TAC AR CASE W/ HANDGUN CASE, a product from GPS promising to be a convenient and secure solution. The appeal of a single case housing both a primary rifle and a handgun is undeniable, streamlining transport and storage.
For years, I’ve juggled multiple cases, often feeling like a pack mule on range days. My search led me to the GPS case, hoping for a more organized and efficient way to transport my AR and pistol. Upon receiving the GPS GPS-T32ARB 32″ TAC AR CASE W/ HANDGUN CASE, my first impression was one of practical design.
It felt robust, though not excessively heavy, suggesting a good balance between protection and portability. The 1000D Polyester material hinted at decent durability, and the integrated handgun case was a welcomed feature. I was choosing between this and a similar case from Uncle Mike’s and another from Plano, but the GPS seemed to have the best layout for my needs.
I picked this case primarily due to the dedicated handgun compartment, which my other cases lacked. Overall, I was cautiously optimistic, eager to see how it would perform in the real world.
Real-World Testing: Putting GPS GPS-T32ARB 32″ TAC AR CASE W/ HANDGUN CASE to the Test
First Use Experience
My initial testing ground was the local shooting range. I loaded my AR-15 and a full-sized 1911 into the GPS GPS-T32ARB 32″ TAC AR CASE W/ HANDGUN CASE and headed out. The case handled the weight well, and the separate compartments kept everything organized.
While the range was dry and sunny, I did simulate a light rain condition by spraying the case with water. The 1000D Polyester proved to be reasonably water-resistant, though not waterproof, offering sufficient protection for a short period. Using it was intuitive; the zippers operated smoothly, and the internal straps secured my firearms without issue.
The only initial hiccup was adjusting the AR-15 compartment straps to snugly fit my particular rifle configuration.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several months of use, the GPS GPS-T32ARB 32″ TAC AR CASE W/ HANDGUN CASE continues to serve its purpose admirably. It’s primarily been used for transporting my firearms to and from the range, as well as for storing them safely at home. The 1000D Polyester has held up well, showing no significant signs of wear and tear.
There are a couple of minor scuffs from being tossed into the back of my truck, but the stitching remains intact. Cleaning is simple; a damp cloth easily removes any dirt or grime. Compared to my previous mishmash of cases, this single unit has streamlined my range trips considerably.
It outperforms them in terms of organization and ease of transport, though a dedicated hard case would provide superior protection in extreme conditions.
