First Impressions of H-S Precision H-S Pro-Series PSS059 Remington 700 BDL Long Action Right Hand
As someone who’s spent over a decade immersed in the world of tactical and outdoor gear, I’ve developed a keen eye for quality and performance. When I first encountered the H-S Precision H-S Pro-Series PSS059 Remington 700 BDL Long Action Right Hand, I was immediately drawn to its reputation for precision and ruggedness. This isn’t just another stock; it’s a foundation upon which to build a truly accurate and reliable rifle.
I was looking to upgrade my aging Remington 700 BDL. The original stock, while functional, lacked the rigidity and adjustability I needed for consistent long-range shots. My first impression upon unboxing the H-S Precision stock was dominated by its solid feel and clean lines. The black finish and built-in cheek rest exuded a sense of purpose, not just aesthetics.
Compared to a Bell and Carlson Medalist and a Magpul Hunter 700 stock I’ve used previously, the H-S Precision felt noticeably stiffer. The full-length aluminum bedding block promised superior accuracy over the partial bedding blocks of the other stocks. My initial reaction was pure excitement. This stock felt like a serious upgrade poised to elevate my rifle’s performance.
