Let’s Dive into Ready America Super TV Grips
Securing valuable equipment during travel or in environments prone to movement can be a constant concern. The Ready America Super TV Grips promise to provide a robust solution, offering a simple yet effective way to anchor televisions, monitors, and other devices. Manufactured by Ready America, these grips aim to eliminate the risk of tipping or sliding, giving peace of mind whether you’re on the road or simply want added stability at home.
I needed to secure a monitor inside my off-road camper, and I had been looking for a robust, reliable, and easy-to-install solution. Straps seemed clunky, and custom mounts were expensive and time-consuming. The Ready America Super TV Grips appeared to offer a quick and straightforward alternative.
Upon receiving the package, I was immediately impressed by the simplicity of the design. The grips consist of larger fasteners with industrial-strength 3M adhesive pads. The build quality seemed solid enough, though the plastic material felt fairly standard.
I considered several other options, including bungee cords and Velcro straps. However, the Ready America Super TV Grips stood out due to their promise of stronger protection and the clean, almost invisible installation. Plus, the price point was significantly lower than custom mounting solutions.
My first impression was cautiously optimistic. The concept was brilliant, but I was eager to see if the adhesive would truly hold up to the rigors of off-road travel. Only time and testing would tell if these grips could deliver on their promise.
Real-World Testing: Putting Ready America Super TV Grips to the Test
First Use Experience
I tested the Ready America Super TV Grips inside my off-road camper during a week-long trip through various terrains, ranging from smooth highways to rocky trails. The grips were installed on a 24-inch monitor, adhering to a laminate surface.
During the trip, the camper experienced significant vibrations and jolts, especially on the more challenging trails. I closely monitored the monitor and the grips, anxious to see if the adhesive would fail. To my surprise, the Ready America Super TV Grips held firm, keeping the monitor securely in place.
Installation was straightforward, requiring only a clean surface and firm pressure to ensure proper adhesion. No tools were necessary, and the process took less than five minutes.
My initial concern was the adhesive’s strength, but the Ready America Super TV Grips proved capable of withstanding considerable stress and movement. This was a pleasant surprise.
Extended Use & Reliability
After three months of regular use, including several off-road adventures, the Ready America Super TV Grips are still holding strong. There are no signs of weakening adhesive or physical damage to the fasteners.
The only maintenance required has been occasional dusting to prevent buildup around the grips. They are incredibly easy to clean; a simple wipe with a damp cloth is sufficient.
Compared to my previous attempts at securing the monitor with straps, the Ready America Super TV Grips offer a far superior solution. The straps were cumbersome and aesthetically unappealing, while these grips are nearly invisible and provide a more secure hold. The Ready America Super TV Grips definitely outperforms my expectations.
