My first real test of the Lippert 370785 Kwikee Superslide II 54in 1 Way came during a week-long camping trip in the Ozark Mountains. I installed the Lippert in the RV’s main storage compartment, using a custom-cut plywood base as recommended by the manufacturer. Despite some heavy rain during the trip, the slide functioned flawlessly. It was easy to extend and retract even when fully loaded.
The ease of use was immediately apparent. I no longer had to climb into the storage compartment or blindly feel around for items; everything was easily accessible with a simple pull.
One initial surprise was the smoothness of the slide’s operation, even under a substantial load. This feature gave me more confidence to utilize the slide for even heavier objects.
