My RV’s original faucet was a disaster. It leaked constantly, and the chrome finish was peeling after only a few years of light use, so I was looking for something durable and stylish. I wanted something that could handle the rigors of RV life and add a touch of class to my tiny bathroom.
The Dura Faucet arrived in a surprisingly compact box. Upon unboxing, I immediately noticed the solid feel of the faucet. The chrome finish looked immaculate, and the single-handle mechanism felt smooth and responsive, hinting at a quality build.

Real-World Testing: Putting Dura Faucet DF-NML800-CP Single Handle Vessel RV Lavatory Faucet Chrome to the Test
First Use Experience
I installed the Dura Faucet in my RV lavatory before a week-long camping trip. The first thing I noticed was how much easier it was to control the water temperature and flow with the single handle. I tested it under various water pressure conditions at different RV parks.
It performed admirably, maintaining a consistent flow without any sputtering or leaks. Adjusting the temperature was precise, even in freezing temperatures, which was great since I also tested the faucet in late-fall conditions. It rained one of the days, but it did not affect any of the plumbing.
I initially had some reservations about the lack of a pop-up drain, but it turned out to be a non-issue and installation was very easy. It was simpler to use than the old two-handle setup I was used to.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several months of consistent use, the Dura Faucet has held up exceptionally well. There are no signs of leaks, corrosion, or wear on the chrome finish. It still looks as good as the day I installed it.
Cleaning is a breeze, a simple wipe with a damp cloth keeps it sparkling. My previous faucet required constant scrubbing to remove water spots and mineral buildup. This Dura Faucet outperformed my expectations in terms of both durability and ease of maintenance.
It feels much more robust and reliable than my previous faucets. I’m confident that this will be a long-lasting and worthwhile upgrade to my RV.
