Let’s Talk About Action Sport Games Dan Wesson Licensed Full Metal 1911 Evike Exclusive VALOR Custom CO2 Powered Airsoft Gas Blowback Pistols
As someone deeply entrenched in the world of tactical gear and weaponry, I’ve always appreciated the timeless design and reliability of the 1911 platform. The Action Sport Games Dan Wesson Licensed Full Metal 1911 Evike Exclusive VALOR Custom CO2 Powered Airsoft Gas Blowback Pistols promised a blend of realistic aesthetics and functional airsoft performance, something I was eager to experience firsthand. This particular model, with its Dan Wesson licensing and Evike.com exclusivity, caught my eye for its potential to offer a high-quality training tool and collector’s piece all in one package.
I’ve been searching for a realistic 1911 airsoft pistol for training drills in my backyard. I needed something that felt and handled like the real deal, without the associated cost and regulations of firearm ownership.
Upon unboxing, the first thing that struck me was the weight; it felt substantial and reassuringly solid. The full metal construction gave it a realistic heft, and the brushed stainless style finish provided a visually appealing and premium look. The build quality felt impressive, with tight tolerances and a smooth slide action that hinted at the quality of the internal mechanisms.
I considered other airsoft 1911s, including the Elite Force 1911 and the Cybergun Colt 1911, but the Dan Wesson licensing and the Evike exclusive VALOR custom design swayed my decision. The promise of compatibility with Elite Force CO2 magazines was also a major selling point, offering flexibility and potentially saving money on magazine purchases.
Initially, I was excited and cautiously optimistic. The pistol looked and felt great, but the real test would be in its performance and reliability on the range.
Real-World Testing: Putting Action Sport Games Dan Wesson Licensed Full Metal 1911 Evike Exclusive VALOR Custom CO2 Powered Airsoft Gas Blowback Pistols to the Test
First Use Experience
I tested the Action Sport Games Dan Wesson Licensed Full Metal 1911 Evike Exclusive VALOR Custom CO2 Powered Airsoft Gas Blowback Pistols primarily in my backyard range. The setup included paper targets at varying distances, simulating close-quarters combat scenarios and longer-range target practice.
The weather was slightly damp, with a light drizzle during the first few magazines. Despite the moisture, the G10 style grips provided a secure and comfortable hold. The blowback action felt crisp and responsive, adding to the realism of the shooting experience.
The pistol was relatively easy to use straight out of the box, requiring only a quick lubrication of the slide rails before loading the CO2 cartridge and magazine. I did need a few magazines to get used to the hop-up adjustment, which affects the range and accuracy of the BBs.
After the first magazine, the pistol experienced a slight drop in velocity, a common occurrence with CO2-powered airsoft guns as the cartridge cools down. However, the overall performance remained consistent enough for effective training.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several weeks of use, the Action Sport Games Dan Wesson Licensed Full Metal 1911 Evike Exclusive VALOR Custom CO2 Powered Airsoft Gas Blowback Pistols has proven to be a reliable and durable training tool. I’ve put approximately 20 CO2 cartridges and several thousand BBs through it without any major malfunctions.
There are minimal signs of wear and tear on the exterior finish, indicating good quality materials and construction. The slide action remains smooth, and the internal components appear to be holding up well under regular use.
Cleaning and maintenance are relatively straightforward, requiring only occasional lubrication of the slide rails and wiping down the exterior to prevent corrosion. The Evike Exclusive VALOR Custom design is holding up as I expected, and feels comfortable in hand after prolonged use.
Compared to my previous experience with cheaper airsoft pistols, the Action Sport Games Dan Wesson Licensed Full Metal 1911 Evike Exclusive VALOR Custom CO2 Powered Airsoft Gas Blowback Pistols noticeably outperforms them in terms of realism, accuracy, and overall build quality.
