Safariland 7379 7TS ALS Concealment Belt Clip Holster Review

Let’s Talk About Safariland 7379 7TS ALS Concealment Belt Clip Holster

The Safariland 7379 7TS ALS Concealment Belt Clip Holster isn’t just another piece of gear; it’s a commitment to safety, speed, and comfort, all rolled into a sleek, low-profile package. Manufactured by Safariland, a name synonymous with law enforcement and military-grade equipment, this holster brings professional-grade security to the everyday concealed carrier.

As a tactical gear specialist with over a decade of experience, I’ve handled countless holsters, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. My search for a holster that offered both reliable retention and a lightning-fast draw led me to the Safariland 7379 7TS ALS Concealment Belt Clip Holster. The promise of the ALS (Automatic Locking System) in a concealment-friendly design was too intriguing to pass up.

My first impression upon unboxing was one of solid, purposeful construction. The SafariSeven nylon blend felt incredibly durable, yet surprisingly smooth to the touch, promising a finish-friendly home for my firearm. The holster felt lightweight and trim, exactly what I was looking for in a concealment rig.

Compared to a standard Kydex holster, the Safariland 7379 offers a more refined retention system. Compared to a thumb-break leather holster, the draw is significantly faster. I picked this holster because of the positive active retention, combined with the speed of an open-top design.

Honestly, I was excited. The Safariland name, coupled with the innovative ALS system, suggested a holster that could redefine my expectations for concealed carry. If it lived up to the hype, this could be a game-changer for both professional and responsible armed citizens.
