The Nobelsport Ammo 28ga. 2.75″ 1205fps. 1oz. #7.5 25-pack ANSH2875 40% Off represents a compelling option in the smaller gauge shotgun world. Marketed toward hunters who demand quality, the Nobelsport ammunition promises superior components and construction, even rivalling their world-class target loads.
I was seeking consistent, reliable 28-gauge shells for upland bird hunting; the smaller gauge offers a unique challenge and enjoyable experience. The Nobelsport ammunition’s claims of high-quality components and a consistent pattern caught my eye, especially given the current 40% discount.
The packaging is standard, a simple cardboard box holding the 25 shells securely. Upon opening, I noticed the bright hulls and clean crimps; they felt well-made and the brass looked well seated.
Compared to Winchester AA or Remington STS 28-gauge loads, the Nobelsport offerings were noticeably more affordable, especially with the discount. I chose them over Fiocchi and Estate due to the manufacturer’s reputation for quality target loads; I reasoned that this attention to detail would carry over to their hunting ammunition.
My initial impression was positive; the shells looked and felt like a quality product, and the price was extremely attractive. I was excited to see how they performed in the field.
Real-World Testing: Putting **Nobelsport Ammo 28ga. 2.75″ 1205fps. 1oz. #7.5 25-pack
ANSH2875 40% Off** to the Test
First Use Experience
I tested the Nobelsport Ammo 28ga. 2.75″ 1205fps. 1oz. #7.5 25-pack ANSH2875 40% Off on a quail hunt in South Texas. The weather was dry, with temperatures hovering around 70 degrees Fahrenheit – ideal conditions.
The shells cycled flawlessly through my Beretta Silver Pigeon I, and the recoil was manageable, as expected from a 28-gauge. The report was consistent, and the patterns, at typical quail hunting distances (20-30 yards), were noticeably even; more on that later.
There were no noticeable issues or surprises during the first use; the shells performed as advertised.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several weeks of use, across three separate hunting trips and a few rounds of sporting clays, the Nobelsport ammunition continued to perform reliably. I have fired approximately 100 rounds.
The shells show no signs of degradation after being stored in my shell bag, even in moderately humid conditions. Cleaning the shotgun after using the Nobelsport shells was no different than cleaning after using other premium brands; no excessive fouling was noted.
The Nobelsport ammunition outperformed cheaper, bulk-pack shells in terms of pattern consistency and clean burning powder; compared to my usual Winchester AA loads, the difference was negligible in terms of field performance, which is impressive considering the price difference.

Specifications
The Nobelsport Ammo 28ga. 2.75″ 1205fps. 1oz. #7.5 25-pack ANSH2875 40% Off is a 28-gauge shotgun shell with a 2.75-inch shell length. This is the standard length for 28-gauge.
It has a listed muzzle velocity of 1205 feet per second. This velocity provides a good balance of speed and manageable recoil in a lightweight shotgun.
The shot weight is 1 ounce, using #7.5 shot size. This shot size is excellent for quail, dove, and other upland birds.
The pack contains 25 shells. This is a standard pack size for shotgun ammunition.
The primer is a Nobelsport 209 primer. This primer is known for its consistent ignition.
Nobelsport emphasizes the use of high-antimony hard shot. Hard shot resists deformation during firing, leading to tighter and more consistent patterns.
The use of even-patterning wads is highlighted. These wads help keep the shot together longer, contributing to consistent pattern density.
