The Tru Ball T.r.u. Ball Release Stinger Xt Dual Jaw Swivel Velcro Blk Lg is a crossbow release designed for archers who demand both comfort and control. Manufactured by TRU Ball, this release features a dual jaw swivel connection, a crossbow series handle, and a velcro strap for secure attachment. It’s built to handle higher draw weights and provide a solid anchor point, making it an appealing option for serious crossbow hunters and target shooters.

I’ve spent years dealing with crossbow releases that just didn’t feel right. Either the trigger pull was too heavy, the handle was uncomfortable, or the release felt flimsy under the pressure of a high-poundage crossbow. I was specifically searching for a release that offered a secure grip, a smooth trigger, and enhanced maneuverability.

Upon unboxing the Tru Ball T.r.u. Ball Release Stinger Xt Dual Jaw Swivel Velcro Blk Lg, I was immediately struck by its robust construction. The handle felt solid in my hand, and the velcro strap appeared durable and well-stitched. The dual jaw swivel was smooth and seemed like it would offer greater range of motion.

I considered several other releases, including models from Scott and Hot Shot. Ultimately, I chose the Tru Ball Stinger XT due to its reputation for precision, the promise of a comfortable handle, and the unique dual jaw swivel feature. I was hoping for a release that would provide improved accuracy and a more consistent shooting experience.

My initial impression was positive. The release felt well-made and thoughtfully designed. I was excited to get it out to the range and see how it performed under real-world conditions.
