First Use Experience
My first test was a trip to a long-range shooting competition in Nevada. The Pelican VAULT V770 Single Rifle Case, 50in accompanied me on a cross-country flight and a subsequent drive through some pretty rough terrain. I subjected the case to the usual airline baggage handling gauntlet.
The case performed flawlessly in the dry, dusty environment of the Nevada desert. Opening and closing the latches was simple and secure, even with dusty hands. There were no surprises, only solid, reliable performance.
Extended Use & Reliability
After several months of regular use, the Pelican VAULT V770 Single Rifle Case, 50in continues to impress. There are a few minor scuffs and scratches on the exterior, but nothing that compromises its structural integrity. The handles remain solid, and the latches still operate smoothly.
Maintenance is a breeze; a simple wipe-down with a damp cloth is all it takes to keep it clean. Compared to my previous cases, which quickly showed signs of wear and tear, the Pelican VAULT V770 Single Rifle Case, 50in is in a different league.
