Conquest Scents Stink Stick Dispenser Review

Let’s Dive into Conquest Scents Stink Stick Dispenser

The Conquest Scents Stink Stick Dispenser from Conquest Scents promises a simple and effective way to deploy attractant scents in the field. Its compact design and focus on leak prevention caught my eye, as scent management can be a messy and frustrating part of hunting. For $19.73, it seemed like a reasonable investment to potentially improve my hunting success.

I was tired of leaky bottles and ineffective scent dispersal methods. I needed a clean and reliable way to keep my hunting area saturated with attractant without contaminating my gear or leaving a visible mess. The promise of sub-freezing performance was also a significant factor, as many of my hunts extend into the late season when temperatures plummet.

Upon receiving the Conquest Scents Stink Stick Dispenser, I immediately appreciated its robust construction. The container felt solid, and the cap sealed tightly, inspiring confidence that it would indeed be leak-free. The replaceable fiberglass wick also seemed like a thoughtful design element, suggesting better scent dispersal and longevity.

I considered a few other scent dispersal options, including scent bombs and aerosol sprays. However, scent bombs often release too much scent at once, and aerosols can be noisy and easily affected by wind. The Conquest Scents Stink Stick Dispenser seemed to offer a more controlled and discreet approach, which aligns with my hunting style.

My initial impression was positive; the Conquest Scents Stink Stick Dispenser seemed well-built and thoughtfully designed. I was eager to put it to the test and see if it lived up to its promises of leak-free scent dispersal in challenging conditions. I was also excited about the potential for a more consistent and effective scent presentation in my hunting setups.

Real-World Testing: Putting Conquest Scents Stink Stick Dispenser to the Test

First Use Experience

I tested the Conquest Scents Stink Stick Dispenser during an early-season whitetail hunt in the hardwood forests of western Pennsylvania. I deployed it near a scrape line, hoping to enhance the natural attractants and lure in a buck. The weather was mild, with temperatures in the low 40s and a light drizzle.

The Conquest Scents Stink Stick Dispenser performed admirably in the damp conditions. The scent seemed to disperse well, even with the slight breeze, and there were no leaks or spills in my pack. The ease of use was also noteworthy; simply unscrewing the cap and placing the dispenser near the scrape took only seconds.

I didn’t encounter any immediate issues or surprises with the Conquest Scents Stink Stick Dispenser during its first use. However, I did notice that the scent seemed to dissipate somewhat quickly in the breezy conditions, requiring me to reapply scent to the wick more frequently than I anticipated. This might be different with a thicker scent.

Extended Use & Reliability

After several weeks of use, the Conquest Scents Stink Stick Dispenser has proven to be a reliable and durable piece of equipment. Despite being tossed around in my hunting pack and exposed to various weather conditions, it shows no signs of wear and tear. The seal remains tight, preventing any leaks, and the fiberglass wick is still in excellent condition.

Maintenance is incredibly simple; I simply wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth after each use. The replaceable wick is a fantastic feature, allowing me to easily switch between different scents without cross-contamination. I have yet to replace the wick, but I appreciate knowing that I can easily do so when needed.

Compared to my previous experiences with leaky scent bottles, the Conquest Scents Stink Stick Dispenser is a significant upgrade. The convenience and peace of mind it provides are well worth the investment. It has helped me maintain a consistent scent presence in my hunting areas without the mess and hassle of traditional methods.
