Primos Hunting Wing Man Turkey Chair MO BU Country Review

Let’s Dive into Primos Hunting Wing Man Turkey Chair MO BU Country

The Primos Hunting Wing Man Turkey Chair MO BU Country isn’t just a place to sit; it’s a strategic advantage in the turkey woods. Designed for comfort and concealment, this chair promises to keep you still and ready when that gobbler finally steps into view. With its blend of a sturdy steel frame, breathable mesh back, and the effective Mossy Oak Break-Up Country camo, it seems like the perfect blend of practicality and comfort.

My aging back has been the bane of many a turkey hunt. Hours spent perched on a log or awkwardly leaning against a tree have resulted in more missed shots and aching muscles than successful harvests. I needed a chair that offered support without sacrificing mobility, and something easily packable.

Unboxing the Primos Hunting Wing Man Turkey Chair MO BU Country revealed a product that felt surprisingly sturdy. The steel frame construction gave me immediate confidence, and the Mossy Oak Break-Up Country camo looked fantastic. The mesh back felt promising for those sweltering spring mornings.

I considered other options like the Alps OutdoorZ Tri-Leg Stool and the Millennium G100 Blind Chair. I opted for the Primos model because of the high back and the inclusion of padded arm rests, which seemed like a worthwhile investment for all-day sits. The Alps stool lacked back support, and the Millennium chair, while comfortable, felt a little too bulky for the run-and-gun style of hunting I often employ.

My first impression was definitely excitement. The chair felt well-built, and the features seemed genuinely useful. I couldn’t wait to put it to the test in the field.

Real-World Testing: Putting Primos Hunting Wing Man Turkey Chair MO BU Country to the Test

First Use Experience

My first hunt with the Primos Hunting Wing Man Turkey Chair MO BU Country was in the rolling hills of southern Ohio. I set up near a known strutting zone, nestled amongst some mature oaks and hickories. The morning was damp, with a light mist clinging to the underbrush, but the mesh back of the chair kept me from getting too clammy.

The chair performed admirably in these conditions. Sitting for three hours straight was surprisingly comfortable, a stark contrast to previous hunts. The chair’s height allowed me to easily glass the area and adjust my position as needed, and there were zero squeaks or creaks to scare any birds.

The only slight issue I encountered was the ground being a little uneven. I had to strategically position the chair to avoid any wobbling.

Extended Use & Reliability

After a full turkey season, the Primos Hunting Wing Man Turkey Chair MO BU Country has proven its worth. There are no signs of significant wear and tear. The steel frame remains solid, and the mesh back hasn’t stretched or ripped.

Cleaning is a breeze. A quick wipe down with a damp cloth is usually enough to remove any mud or dirt. The fabric seems resistant to staining.

Compared to my previous experiences of sitting on the ground, the Primos Wing Man Turkey Chair is a game-changer. It allows me to stay in the field longer and focus on the hunt, rather than constantly shifting to alleviate discomfort. The chair outperformed all expectations.
