ArmaLaser Laser Sight for H&K USP Full Size Review

Let’s Dive into ArmaLaser Laser Sight for H&K USP Full Size

The ArmaLaser Laser Sight for H&K USP Full Size is a laser aiming device designed to integrate seamlessly with the iconic Heckler & Koch USP Full Size pistol. Crafted by ArmaLaser, this laser sight boasts a durable polymer construction, a high-visibility green laser, and a unique touch-pad activation system. It promises improved target acquisition and accuracy in a variety of lighting conditions, making it an intriguing addition for both seasoned shooters and those looking to enhance their home defense capabilities.

I’ve spent years running iron sights on my handguns, but recently, my aging eyes have been making target acquisition a bit slower. I needed a reliable laser sight that wouldn’t add bulk to my trusty H&K USP Full Size, and the ArmaLaser seemed like a promising solution.

Upon unboxing the ArmaLaser Laser Sight for H&K USP Full Size, I was immediately impressed by its compact design and the seemingly robust DuPont Zytel FRN Polymer construction. The unit felt lightweight yet solid, suggesting a good balance of durability and minimal impact on the pistol’s handling. Unlike some bulkier laser sights I’ve handled, this one appeared to blend seamlessly with the USP’s lines.

Compared to similar trigger-guard mounted lasers from Crimson Trace and Viridian, the ArmaLaser stood out because of its distinct touch-pad activation. I chose this model for its intuitive activation system over competing models with push-button or pressure-switch designs.

My initial impression was positive. The ArmaLaser Laser Sight for H&K USP Full Size seemed well-engineered and thoughtfully designed. I was eager to get it mounted and see how it performed at the range.

I primarily focused on target acquisition speed and accuracy at distances of 7, 15, and 25 yards.

The ArmaLaser Laser Sight for H&K USP Full Size performed admirably in low-light conditions, with the green laser providing a clear and distinct aiming point. Even in brighter conditions, the laser was visible, although less pronounced. The touch-pad activation system was relatively intuitive, but I needed to adjust my grip slightly to consistently activate the laser without conscious effort.

The only initial issue I encountered was minor adjustments to my grip. The laser was easy to install but I needed to experiment to find the right finger placement to ensure consistent activation without disrupting my shooting stance.

Extended Use & Reliability

After several range sessions and a few weeks of dry-fire practice, the ArmaLaser Laser Sight for H&K USP Full Size has proven to be a reliable addition to my USP. It holds zero well and the touch-pad activation has become second nature.
