I’ve always thought that if more people would learn to shoot and use a gun before they set their minds against guns in general or as something they can use it would make a big chance.
Apparently I’m not the only one and unlike me there are people that are willing to actually do something to help people familiarize themselves with guns.
Obama has chosen Biden to be his running mate and I guess this solves any ambiguity as for his intentions on gun ownership rigths.
Armed Canadian points out that Biden has voted for any gun ban suggestion ever and I guess the situation is now even clearer than before.
There is the team that is pro gun ownership rights and the team that is against gun ownership rights.
There is really no need for the NRA warnings anymore as I’m sure no gun owner would even consider voting for the Obama-Biden option. Let’s say that McCain works has become much easier at least on some of the states that Obama has to win in order to get to the White House.
Thinking about the suggestion that apathy and unwarranted trust in Obama’s promises to be gun rights friendly, at least friendlier than he has been can, can lead his way to the White House.
Dick discusses the case of Obama in comparison to the election of Jim Doyle as governor in Wisconsin in 2002.
Doyle promises to keep the rights of the gun holders were enough to make people ignore the NRA warning and vote for him.
I don’t know if many gun holders are about to ignore the issue of gun policy and vote for Obama, I just know that if they would it is probably because McCain gives gun rights but offers very little change on many others things.
Having to choose between two imperfect choices I guess some people would tend to convince themselves that the gun rights issues would be safe even if Obama is the one that sits in the White House.
I know many people that are going to vote for McCain not because they think he would be a good president but because he is the only choice they have caring for the issue of the gun rights as much as we all do.

SayUncle brought a link to the video and to the Illinois governor decision to place speed cameras on intersections so that cups would be able to find illegal gun owners and walk the street of Chicago confiscating guns.
The current gun ban hasn’t done much good to the murder rate and with the current legal attempts to overturn the ban completely it seems that this is clearly the wrong way.
If citizens are allowed to have guns for self defense there is a much better chance to stop some of the murders.
I can’t really say that I’ve heard all the complaints that were made about this gun, but I’ve read a lot and each time there is something new.

Has someone heard about official complaints? After all it is not much of a self defense if the gun attacks us for no apparent reason. Beside it often attracts less experienced user because it is considered cool and their ability to cope with problems can put them at risk.
Everyone knows that it is flawed but no one warns unsuspecting customers.
