hello ,,i'd say in the condition stated your md 100 would be in the 250-325 range ,,i'd try some 00 or 000 steel wool on the rusty barrel with some 3 in 1 oil and see if ya can clean it up some ,,seems a shame to let it get any worse ,,if you were closer i'd clean it up for ya and i bet it would look really good ,,
,,,my standard catalog of firearms tell me that this model was recalled in 1990 by winchester ,,if it never was sent back i'd say to go over to winchesters web site and give them a call and see if it has had the issues with it resolved ,,i don't know what the issues were but the book says do not fire it untill the issues are resolved ,,i'm guessing it may be an issue with slam fires or going full auto,,slam fires can be very dangerous if the round is not fully chambered when it goes off ,,so be careful with this one and mabey call winchester and see what they say the problem may have been with them,,just some friendly advice for ya before you have a problem or someone gets hurt,,
