a day or so i bought a wingmaster, 12 ga, good condition with a 34" full choke barrel that says trap only on the barrel. what is the real value of this gun and what is the odd barrel length?

values for older wingmasters depending on condition are slightly higher than the 870 express guns and i'd say in the 250-325 range ,,the 34" barrel has to be a special order item and thats a hard thing to appraise ,,but your shotgun should be in the 350-425 range i'd say with it set up as a trap model,,mabey more if it's also a trap grade wingmaster special production run..my books don't list much on trap models but the 870 trap guns came with 30" barrels and thats the longest barrel listed for any 870 models.. i gues you've checke that the berrel wasn't lenghtened by a gunsmith ?it might be hard to tell if it was done right,,but i really can't see much of an advantage to the 4 extra inches unless for extra long range shots on geese or turkeys ,,it's not a screw in choke model is it?a skeet choke is usually an open choke anyways ,,it is definatly an odd combination..
