Winchester rolling block..22 long.

I inherited a nice Winchester, octognal barrel Rolling block .22 Long...It has no model number that I can find. Under the lever, is stamped "Pat Oct 7(some digit unintelligable)79
Then in italic script engraving the number 32446.It has a Schnabel forearm, with a black accent wood. Still in very nice shape. Any idea of the model, and ballpark worth?
Finally I have a Marlin .32 rimfire. It is a tube feed, octagonal barrel lever. MARLIN SAFETY on the top of the reciever. Serial # 153509 in front of lever. Patended Nov. 19,1878 April 2,1889,Aug 12,1890,March 1,1892.Also in pretty nice condition.Any idea of model and approx value? Thanks....

Kim..Nope, not even close..single shot. When lever opens, extractor (split top and bottom) manually pushes case out of reciever..Shorter forearm, schnabel style(like a 300 savage), octagonal barrel.Steel buttplate.

if this is the model, your rifle was manufactured in 1889, value could be considerable warranting a hands-on appraisal.

as for your marlin lever action, (Including Models 1881, 1888, 1889, 1891, 1892, 1893, 1894, 1895 and 1897.) Note that records are chaotic as all models were numbered in a single serial number range, and numbers are often duplicated, and the dates recorded are apparently shipping dates, not dates of manufacture.
shipping date of 1897. not sure of the model, google all the above and see which one matchs yours. it could possibly be a first run model 97.

Kim; It would appear to be an 1891,.32RF.. Standard version with a straight grip. Also has rear adjustable tang peep, with fold down hooded front pin.In 70% plus condition. Value???

the value on these two rifles could be considerable and would require a hands-on appraisal. check with a local insurance agent and they should be able to direct you to someone who can quote you an insurable value.
