Hi Kim,
Serial # is 135XXX. It looks in good condition to me, but I am no expert.
Thanks for your help.

hi jmck,
your model 63 was manufactured in 1955, value should be 750 - 850 if in good to excellant condition. JMHO

Kim,
Thanks for your help. I found a site, armscollector.com, where I looked up the serial number and it says the gun was made in 1941. Where did your date come from? It offered no value, so I kept looking and found this forum. The tag from dad's says the gun is worth $500.00 but I don't know how long ago that was.

hi jmck,
i used armscollectors.com and they gave me the date of 1955 for all model 63's from s/n 135000 - 135999. if it's in good mechanical condition i'll stand by my value. value will increase with age since the closing of new haven and not making these fine 22's anylonger. JMHO

Hi Kim
It does help to put in the right model, I used the 62 model instead of the 63, when I did it correctly it came up the same as yours. I said I was not an expert. What kind of ammo does it use?
Thanks agian

I can't say Thank you enough for all of your help. If it's not out of your expertise, I also got a Japanese war trophy rifle and a Rex Yazel muzzleloader from the estate. Any guidance on value, age would be great.
