I have my grandfathers old Winchester ranger 12 Gauge Pump shotgun model 31. I have been looking on line for info about this gun and can't find any. Can any one help me with the history and value?

Winchester Model 31?

Remington made the 31 which was the battleground for the Winchester 12...

I think the Remington is actually better but a lot of Winchester folks would argue..

yeah i cant find a mod 31 only a mod 120 the 120 is made in japan only 5000 of them starts at 300 some have paid a 1000 or more sorry

Okay I am incorrect. It doesn't state Winchester (my dad told me it was). The only markings are Ranger Model 31.
