I went to gunsinternational.com, and could not find a Winchester ranger model 120, 12 ga. I specifically could not see a 120.
I am trying to get an idea on the value.

I am clueless!

x2

I bought a Winchester 120 Ranger with 28" Winchoke barrel used for $179 couple years ago at a sporting goods store, about 85% condition. It's a slick little pump, simply a no frills version of the 1300. Runs great, fun to shoot, good value pump gun, but no way it's worth any $2,000, if you'll pay that mine's for sale!

There are about a dozen on GunBroker ranging from $150 - $275.They're not as common as a Mossberg 500,but not exactly rare either.

I do not know where or what source you get your information from, but I highly recommend that you get rid of it.

The U.S. Repeating Arms Co. (not Winchester) was the company that manufactured the Model 120. Winchester (Olin Industries) sold the original New Haven, Conn factory to USRACo in late 1980, and they got completely out of the firarms manufacturing business. Winchester (Olin Industries) leased the rights to use the Trade Mark "WINCHESTER" name to the USRACo for a 25-year period (which expired in March of 2006). The Model 120 was an inexpensive variant of the Model 1200, and there were several hundred thousand of them manufactured.

Actually bert they are not modeled after the 1200 they are modeled after the winchester 1300 learn how to read. Honestly guys if you buy a shotgun and it does what its supposed to does it matter what its worth? as long as you dont pay what you cant afford who cares the 120 is a great accurate gun and its made by winchester

Aaron... it is you that needs to learn what a Model 120 truly is. As described in the orignal Winchester catalogs, it is a Model 1200 with hardwood (versus walnut) stocks, and a lesser polished blue. Winchester simply shortened the Model designation from "1200" to "120". If it was based on the Model 1300 (as you incorrectly believe), it would have been designated the Model "130"

I purchase two model 120 winchester ranges many, many years ago from a discount department store that was going out of business. One is a 20 gauage and the other is a 12 gauage with a slug barrel ( also 12 came with additional chokes). I still have the original manuals for both and both manuals are the same. On the front cover of the manual the following models are listed: 1) Model 1300 XTR Waterfowl, 2) Model 1300 XTR Deer Gun, 3) Model 1300 XTR Winchoke, 4) Model 1300 Featherweight, 5) Defender, 6) Stainless Police, 7) Stainless Marine, 8) Winchester Ranger Model 120, 9) Winchester Ranger Youth Model. Maybe this will help some.
My question is what would be the right weaver style mount to purchase for either of these so I can mount a reflex type (dot type) sight on it?
The email address listed is the one I use when I buy merchandise on line so as not have junk mail in my main email box. I not a dealer of anything.
