Trying to find a value for this gun. I've been told it was made sometime in 1941-1942. it has checkering on forearm and butt"pistal grip".It has a Redfield peep sight. all looks to be original.

your winchester 94 i beleive was made during the war years of ww2 and it falls into the no records available era from 1943 -1947,,it appeares to be a fancy sporting rifle grade but i beleive the redfield peep may have been added later on ..as they don't list it as standard ..if it has had holes drilled other than the original holes in the receiver it will detract some collector intrest ,,but still should be worth between 600-possibly around 1500,,if it wasn't drilled for the site then double either number for one in poor to good condition and if excellent it could go as high as 10,000 to a collector or at auction,,but it all depends how the redfield is attached ..collectors would rather have a fair condition rifle thats original without extra holes than a excellent model with extra holes drilled for custom sites..very nice looking rifle though..
