I believe the gun was manufactured in 1923. It seems to be all original. It has a folding peep sight, 18" barrel with a shorter magazine (12". Stock has been re-stained. Gun is used but in very good condition. What is it's approximate value?

hi dolebe,
i haven't come across any 94s as the one you describe, but there's alot of weapons i haven't come across as of yet. your 94, even if modified with peep site and shortened barrel (not saying that it was, just if) would still be valued in the 1000 - 1200 range, best bet would be to have a hands-on appraisel done for insurance purposes. Kim,

I guess I'm not sure about the length of the barrel or magazine. I am not certain where to measure from. It probably is more like a 20" barrel. The magazine is about 7 inches shorter. It does not look like it has been modfied, but I am new to this. Thanks for you info!
