I have a Winchester Model 94 30-30 Carbine that a friend of my Father gave to me when I was 12 years old. It appeared to be old when I got it and that was in 1961. I killed my first deer, a big buck in Central Nevada that same year.

The serial number is 1319855.
On the barrel it says made in New Haven Conn U.S. of America - Winchester Proof Steel- Winchester Trade Mark Model 94-30 W.C.F.
Just wondering what it is worth. It is in pretty good shape. Action is very solid and the wood is in good shape, but no finish left.

Thanks for any info.

There are no records for the years between 1943 and 1948 and your serial number falls in there. The New Haven Conn U.S. of America notation is refered to as the barrel address and all Winchesters are stamped in some similar manner. The "no finish" condition is a killer on value. If it went to auction you might get $750 to $1000.
