made in 1972 and value would be between 200-400 depending how nice it is and how much of the original finish remains,,and what the buyer sees "condition wise" ,,dealers will proably offer between 100-200 for it again depending on the condition..

thats a fair offer for it ,,ive seen decent ones at the shop where i used to work sell around 250-275,,counter his offer with a will ya go 450 and it's yours if ya want to sell ,,if he says no then it's your call on the sale ..i'd proably jump all over it but don't sound to excited or he may think he's overpaying ..play the game to win..lol..

well marlin rifles are very good rifles ,,i've never had a high power marlin,,i looked and there rifles in 30-06 are in the 300-450 range used ,,if your talking about a norinco scope there chinese scopes ,,but what isn't made in china these days ..so if he's offering the rifle and the scope for your wincheser and you want a 30-06,,, then it sounds like a pretty good deal,,i think the marlin package has a little more value than the winchester,,,

thats still a good deal ,,a md 70 for a md 94 ,,i think i'd make that trade ..as long as the winchester md 70 isn't all beat up or well used..
