I am looking to find the value of my deer rifle. I stopped deer hunting and want to sell for a fair price. My Dad bought it for me quite a few years ago. In excellent condition with a Redfield 3X9 scope on it. Has a couple very small scratches on the stock, but otherwise in perfect condition. I will check on the SN and post tonight. It is probably a late 70's or early 80's model.

sounds like a 70's-80"s combination ,,thats when Redfield was just about the top of the line scope of choice for hunters looking for the best! So that said if in these years i'd say you should have no trouble getting between 450-550 for the package,,mabey even ask a little more if your thinking about a private sale to someone looking for a good hunting rifle,,a gunshop owner will proably offer you somewhere between 175-250 for it ..

.. your best bet would be to put an add in a local paper or weekly bargin paper,,you could go with an online auction but then a dealer would have to handle the transfer between dealers,,and they usually charge you a fee ..but i think your best option is to advertise it locally!

Thanks for the quick response! I will likely go adverstise in the paper route. I am pretty sure my Dad paid around $700 for it at the time.

This is a great rifle and extremely accurate up to 200 yards.

The serial number is G1899927 so I think it is post 81' when USRADC tookover Winchester. Not sure if that changes the value.

sounds about right with the scope package on it price,,and you are correct with it being post 81,,but it really shouldn't effect the values ,,i'd start it at 600-650 and see if theres intrest in it at that price ..or even list it as best offer and see what ya get for offers ,,you will get tire kickers listing it this way but you may find that guy looking for your combination and he will make a good offer ,,tell the tire kickers you already have an offer of 550 for it so they won't waste your time ,,that way only people with at least that amount won't even bother to get directions ,,lol..lol..
