winchester model 70 bolt action 223 what does the term "short blind" mean?

I think it mean's "Short Action Blind Magazine" because the .223 is a short round comparing to a .300 win mag which would be a long action.

And the Blind Magazine is a top feed magazine, not a trap door magazine that loads from the bottom.
