hi roger,
you model 70 was manufactured in 1968, value should be 800 - 850. i've got the same rifle man. in 1969. i put a hogue stock on it and it'll shoot .75 moa with 139 gr. hornadys. great rifle.

hi roger,
i don't do my own reloading but the ammo i use has hornady 139 gr. ballistic tip. with a muzzle velocity of 3250 fps. @ 500 yrds it retains 1500+ Ft lbs of energy. in my personal opinion it's one of the best all round hunting cartridges ever produced. with 110 gr hp's i've droped a coyote at the 400+ range and the 180 gran nosler partitions will do the job on elk. JMHO
