This Winchester model 61 22 S.L. or LR was my Grand fathers, given to my Dad, and now to me. the serial no. is 74724. Does anyone know what year it was man. and the value? It is in good condition but well used. I plan to give it to my son one day. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

hello.. this one i double checked that i didn't add a digit in the number,,lol,,and for serial number 74724 manufacture date is 1947,,value for a post war model in good condition would range between 400-500..
