I recently inherited a Winchester Model 1892 Sporting Rifle - 38 W.C.F. - Serial No. 14XXX. The rifle is in very good condition. Can someone tell me when it was made and give me its approximate value? Thanks

hi anthem,
with the s/n you gave your '92 was manufactured in 1892. value could be considerable so a professional appraisel would be your best bet as to value.
