my winchester mod.12-16ga.is a ribbed pump action, full choke, nichel steel, us made shotgun with a 28" barrel,14" stock, serial #357982. the nickel steel, barrel interior and wood stock finishes are in excellent condition with no scratches or pitting. i would like to know the value of my shotgun and would like to trade it for a 9mm semiauto pistol. any suggestion. thank you, cliff

hello ..your standard model ,model 12 with a ribbed barrel in 16 ga should be in the 200-700.00 range for trade in i would say 200-450 in good condition depending on the dealer and the trade your looking at ,,shouldn't be a problem trading this in on a semi auto 9mm in a smith,ruger,or mabey even a used glock..but just about any dealer is going to tell ya you gotta come up with some cash to boot,,but shop around or try to sell it outright or put an add in the paper if they play games with you because a model 12 in good or better condition "will sell"lots of winchester collectors out there.. and then you could buy the pistol and MABEY have enough left over to buy some ammo..
