Hello;
Have any idea of the value of a winchester model 03.
It has been reblued (nice job)
It is the 22 auto caliber.
Does anyone make ammo for this rifle?
Thanks in advance KEN

Kenn,

Sorry I did not catch this post earlier. The Winchester 1903 rifle is chambered for a slightly larger round than is the typical .22 cal rinfire. But I am not familiar with any manufacture of it. One may argue that would have a negative impact on the value. But sadly not near as much as the non original blue on the rifle. Most collectors will not touch it. If it were original and in a 80% condition it could be valued around $900. And almost twice that if it were a deluxe version with a checkered pistol grip stock.

The following link has some good information about this rifle. http://www.rifleman.org.uk/Winchester_Auto_and_Winder_% 20rifles.htm

Here is a box of ammo for sale!! http://www.auctionarms.com/search/displayitem.cfm? itemnum=9397080&oh=

And here is more of it!! http://www.ammo-one.com/22WIN-AUTO.html

Good luck.
Glad to help on a reare one.
