I can't tell you what your 1897 is worth but. The year of manufacture for serial number 90866 is 1901.

your md 97 winchester should bring 450 fair -around 650 good+ ,,mabey a little more to the right collector or if a fancy grade ,,prices are for original finish wood and metal shotguns in complete good working order and not altered in any way from ther original factory configuration,,
