Utahfishing,

Is that flyfishing??

Your rifle is from 1905. I have a couple from that year also. The .25-20 was the smallest of the four calibers that the rifle was produced in. It also came in .32-30, .38-40, and .44-40. I will assume it is an octagon barrel and crescent butt configuration. But it could also be a carbine. Is the stock a pistol grip or not?

A few photos would be great to help you with.

Thank You; I am not good enough to post a picture but the model 92 is a 24" octagon bbl and the but plate is as you say. Yes it is flyfishing. RVN 1971-72 Monkey Mountain. Bob

Utahfishing,

I have skied in Utah but never fished it. Belize to Alska yes but skipped over Utah so far. May have to change that.

If very good condition it should be $2500 to $3000. But I'll warn you that one persons ver good may not be so. Try to find a kid, no disrespect intended, to laod some photos for oyu and send them. You can send them in a private message to me or ask me for my email that way and I'll take a look. The photo is a very good condition rifle. All screws in good shape, case solor on the lever, and good solid smooth bluing with perfect wood to metal fit.

You never know I just might buy it from you.

You ever tried the salt water flyfishing?

Thanks

I'll get my wife to do the pics. I have never fly fished in Salt Water. I have fished Oregon, Montana and Utah. I love Montana Best! Bob
