i have a winchester m-200 with a winchester 2 3/4 by 26 or 28 in winchoke barrel, it has a blond or honey colored finish on the stock and pump, there is no grooves in either, they are smooth.i bought it from a used gun dealer who didnt have any information on it as far as when it was made,or anything about it..i have modified it at a gun shop by putting a carry strap and scope on it..i would guess its in good to very good condition, im not looking to sell it, its very versitile for the type of hunting i do, i would just like to know a lil more about it such as when it was made and if it is part of ted williams or something else?can you help? thanks

hello ,,i beleive your talking about a winchester 1200 the model 200 was a sears ted williams model that winchester made for sears and stamped it model 200,,basically it is valued at or a little under a 1200 price because of it being a store brand ,,that said either your reading the barrel number which may have been used on a 1200 receiver or it's a sears model,,either way with the winchoke barrel the value would be between 150good-225 like new,,these are a good feild guns for the hunter on a budget,,dealers will pay around 100-125 if really clean on trade or cash value,,

thanks for the info ,yes the barrel says 1200 , the chamber section says m-200, i thought it may have been pieced together from 2 different guns or totally changed and modified to fit the previous owner..there are no sears markings on it at all..it is a wonderfull field gun, i think i got a good buy on it, i payed 130.00 from used dealer.put around 150.00 in it with mods i had done to it..it is in really good shape and i keep it clean and oiled...thanks again, have a great weekend and an awsome hunting season
