my brother was just given a 94 winchester 30 WCF barrell lenght 20in, mag tube the same. over all conition is very good , has 95% bluing on barrell while reciever has 60%. stock and forearm retains all of the varnish with small scratchs. serial #1060429 would like to know date of manufactured and value. one person told him it was built for the mexican army. any help on this would be great. suitty.

hi suitty,
your brothers 94 was manufactured in 1929, value should be 600 - 800. if it where built fro the mexican army you can request a history from winchester, or check out this site and go to the index page and e-mail the site owner.
