I've got a Winchester Model 64 that I can't seem to reconcile the serial number against any database I look at. It is only 6 digits long - 142xxx.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Thanks!

the model 64 winchester was made from 1933-1957 and 67,000 were sold in those years..the md 64 was reintroduced in 1972 and discontinued in 1973,,serial numbers from what my books tell me is that the numbers ran concurrent with md 1894 leverguns,,my guess on yours would be between 1939+1941,,taking into concideration the last 6 digits in the md 94 serial number list and the dates of manufacture of the md 64..
