manufactor date for the s/n you gave is 1959, value for a pre '64 model should be 400 - 600 in stated condition. JMHO

A rod

Pre 64s definitely are worth more than those after. You have to make sure that you are looking at rifles of very similar condition. I have seen some pre 64 rifles sell for much more than $600 to $700.

Hello,
I'm sorry but I can't part with this rifle for that amount. I have been offered twice of what you are offering already. This is a one owner gun originally purchased in 1951. I know all that has happened to it as I was probably with my dad on most if not all of the hunting trips.

Hello,
It looks like you would like to purchase my Winchester. Yes, I am interested in selling it to you as I would like to see the gun get a good home. I only had daughters and my one son in law is deathly afraid of bats. Not sure what he would do with a loaded gun. It might be scary.
I'll be watching for your response.

Dale
