winchester 1892 38-40 with octagon barrel ssn#947

would like to know the value of this rifle just bought it for 150.

hello ,,you got a steal on the 92 winchester and if your serial number is 947 it is very collectable,,value could go as high as 5000 exc for the sporting rifle model and even higher if a better grade..from the serial number it is one of the first produced in 1892,,and a hands on appraisal would be recommended for actual value,,
