what would the value and year of a winchester 1892 octagon barrel 25-20 with a serial # 948044 be?

hi doug,
your 92 was manufactured in 1925, value should be 1200 - 1500 in good to excellent condition, value will be increased if it had any special additions, i.e. shotgun butt plate, pistol grip, special grade. JMHO
