On the death of my father I inherited the above rifle. It hasn't been fired in anger since 1946, apart from a barrel test carried out by the UK authorities in the late 1960s.
The firearm is in totally original condition and in excellent condition (although I am no expert) I researched using the serial No. and it came back as 1913 as date of manufacture.
Serial No 712XXX.
Can anybody give me a realistic value and would you be interested in buying it.

hi mike,
in the stated condition value should be in the 1200 -1500 range, unless it's a special run. i've seen some pistol grip 24" barrel rifles in the 2500+ range. JMHO
