I purchase a Winchester Model 94, serial number 14744x a few years ago and found out later I didn't have to fill out the paperwork since it's considered an antique. I've considered selling it but understand it can be sold and shipped outside the FFL guidelines. First, I'm wondering about the value at 90% condition and would anyone know of a site where I can post it without worrying about FFL on either side of the equation? All of the sites I've visited have that "requirement"....

Venture,

Your rifle was manufactured in 1898 by most data. That is the last year for "antique" status. And yes, it can be shipped without having to go through an FFL dealer.

The value of the rifle is going to be determined by condition first, configuration second, and then year of manufacture. You might read the following post of mine to get some idea. http://www.gunvaluesboard.com/why-i-need-photos- 254864.html#25490
I would be glad to work with you on getting a good narrow range of value for your rifle.

Thanks
