where is the best place to get ammo that isnt as common? I need 30-40 krag and 300 H&H. I live 2 blocks from the bass pro world head quaters and they dont carry either till dear season.

yea i'm having a hard time finding cheap surplus 7mm mauser
i used to get that kynoch corrosive stuff for $3 a box and then $5 a box now its just gone(i'm sure i'm not responsible for ridding the earth of affordable 7mm mauser)
i guess we need a country to find a stash of 7mm mausers to sell to century so that we can get some ammo
s&b stuff is fairly cheap $8 but they use a really weird bullet in their 7mm mauser cartridge and it just hits a little low
heck i'm down to 7 or 8 boxes
and to heck with paying remington $15 a box sheesh

You're going to end up reloading sooner or later. We almost all do. I did when the supplies of cheap Hanson ammo dried up.

sheesh i think i'll just sell the rifle for $50 and just walk away
8mm seems to be available even though it kicks a bit more
handloading is ok for some but i dont have that kind of faith in myself to not screw up
